Musk (along with Rose) was one of the scents most preferred by the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.). As an inhaled fragrance, Musk has been used to correct dizziness, fainting, and heart palpitations. Women have also used musk for a few days following the menstrual periods to repel any negative imbalances of the psychic planes, and to finalize elimination and re-balancing of the internal environment.
