A caffeine-free treat from the mountain hinterlands of South Africa. Rich in flavor but light on bitter tannin, rooibos is an abundant source of antioxidants and minerals. It is an ideal tea for children, as well as for those sensitive to caffeine. Hand-harvested by an indigenous cooperative of Khoi-San farmers in South Africa's Cedarburg Mountains. A portion of the sale of this tea goes directly to community development initiatives such as schools, health facilities, and job creation.
